About
High School Helpers connects Chicago elementary students with high school mentors who understand their journey firsthand. Founded by students who navigated the selective enrollment process themselves, we recognize that many talented middle schoolers lack access to guidance and resources. Through free tutoring, mentorship, workshops, and homework help, we empower underrepresented students to reach their full potential and secure placement in the high schools that best fit their goals.
Mission
To bridge educational opportunity gaps by providing Chicago elementary students with free, peer-led tutoring and mentorship for selective high school enrollment. We equip underrepresented students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to navigate the application process and succeed academically.
Vision
A Chicago where every capable student, regardless of neighborhood or background, has equal access to quality high school education. We envision communities connected through student leadership, where successful high schoolers inspire and guide the next generation toward their educational dreams.
