Bringing High School Helpers to your elementary school opens doors for your students to access free, high-quality mentorship and tutoring from high schoolers who have successfully navigated the selective enrollment process. Our program is designed to complement your existing curriculum and support students in grades 6-8 who aspire to attend competitive high schools.
What is it?
Your Role
To establish a chapter at your school, administrators should complete our elementary chapter application form with school details, preferred session times, available space, and estimated student participation numbers. Our team will review your application and match you with a nearby high school chapter whose student volunteers will travel to your location weekly.
We handle volunteer coordination, background checks, curriculum development, and progress tracking. Your school provides a classroom space and helps communicate opportunities to interested students and families. Sessions typically run for one hour after school, once or twice weekly. There are no costs to your school—our mission is removing barriers, not creating them. Together, we'll ensure your students receive the guidance and resources they deserve to achieve their high school dreams.
